ANDREW OSADEBE
Founder and principal
Andrew was first called to the Nigerian Bar in May 1990 following a successful completion of an LLB degree program from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife in 1988 and BL degree from the Council of Legal Education Nigeria Law School. He practiced extensively as a barrister & solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria before relocating to the United Kingdom in 1997. He has worked at several law firms as a human rights proponent, before he qualified as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales in 2007. Andrew is a highly organised and self-motivated intellectual with borderless capabilities. He is goal oriented with a passion for achieving excellent results for clients. He has dual qualifications from two jurisdictions, Nigeria and the United Kingdom and has been a sole practitioner since Zuriel Solicitors was established in 2008.
He has excellent research and communication skills, with a passion for excellence. His wealth of experience in advisory, drafting and advocacy has enhanced his expertise in the key arears of Conveyancing, Family/Matrimonial, Immigration law, Wills and Probate.
Education
Andrew was a scholar at the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile - Ife Nigeria where he graduated with an honorary LL. B degree in Law in 1988. He subsequently proceeded to the Nigerian Law School at Victoria Island in Lagos where he completed his legal education and was awarded B.L. certificate by the Council of Legal education Nigeria in May 1990.
Akira Jacobs-Abiola
Graduate Solicitor Apprentice
Akira joined Zuriel Solicitors as a Paralegal in November 2023 and subsequently began her Level 7 Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme in August 2024 which is geared towards qualification as a Solicitor in 2027. She holds a First Class LLB from Middlesex University and received multiple awards during her degree including Best Child and Family Law Student and Overall Best LLB Law Student.
Prior to joining Zuriel Solicitors, Akira volunteered at legal clinics where she assisted the family law department. Hence, she has a wealth of knowledge in family law in her role as a Paralegal.
Akira supports the firm in legal drafting, case management and client care in various areas of law including family, immigration, conveyancing and private client law.
Her strengths lie in her dynamic approach to client care and her deep understanding of sensitive law issues- in areas where she has both professional and personal experience. Her work has included assisting with complex financial remedy proceedings and Children Act applications, various immigration law applications, will drafting and facilitating the conveyancing process at Zuriel Solicitors, demonstrating her ability to navigate high-stakes and emotionally charged legal matters.

Zuriel Solicitors have achieved Lexcel V6.1 Re-Accreditation
Zuriel Solicitors are proud to announce that we have recently achieved re-accreditation with the Lexcel Practice Management Standard Version 6.1 awarded by the Law Society of England and Wales. This Accreditation recognises firm that have achieved Excellence in Legal Practice Management and Client Care. The latest assessment took place on the 2nd of December 2024 and was conducted by Ms Karen Horsley of Inspiring Business Performance.
